Fire ants are a species of ants accidently brought to the U.S. from South America in the 1930s. When disturbed, they will attack aggressively and bite and sting.

If you have fire ants on your property, call us today. We can get rid of these pests with products that are good for one year of control.

Grubs

May 20, 2016

Heavy white grub infestations can destroy grass roots, causing the affected area to become spongy, which allows the sod to be rolled back like a piece of carpet. Evidence of grub damage, including patches of dead or dying turf, are visible during spring (April and May) and late summer and fall (September and October) A good indication of a grub infestation is the presence of skunks, crows, or moles feeding on turf. However, remember that moles also feed on earthworms or insects living on shallow tree roots.

Armyworms

May 20, 2016

The armyworm and the fall armyworm are common species. When they are numerous, they may devour the grass down to the ground. Their feeding causes circular bare areas in lawns. Don't let these insects destroy your lawn by calling us at the first sign of armyworms.
